Privacy Policy - Fraud.bd Data Security
Last updated: April 01, 2026
1. Introduction to Our Security Protocol
At Fraud.bd, we process millions of e-commerce records to provide predictive risk scores. Because we handle logistics data, privacy and data masking are the core of our system architecture. This policy explains how we process, store, and utilize data to protect your e-commerce business.
2. Information We Collect
- Merchant Data: Account information, domain names, API keys, and billing details.
- Transactional Data (Masked): When you use our API, we analyze phone numbers, delivery status, and courier history. We do not collect names, exact addresses, or product details.
- System Logs: IP addresses, user agents, and API request logs for security and rate-limiting purposes.
3. How We Use the Data (The Engine)
The primary purpose of data collection is to train our Machine Learning models and update the Crowdsourced Trust Matrix. A phone number reported as a "Return/Fake" by Merchant A instantly helps Merchant B avoid the same fraudulent buyer. Data is used strictly for risk assessment and never sold to third-party marketers.
4. Data Retention & Encryption
All data transmitted through our REST API is secured via TLS 1.3 encryption. Data stored in our centralized database is encrypted at rest using AES-256. We retain transactional flags permanently to maintain historical accuracy for the Trust Score algorithm.
